Cocking Village Hall

We are delighted to welcome you to our village hall for local events, family parties, training sessions, small meetings, weddings or other significant occasions.

Cocking Village Hall is designed for multiple use. It was purpose built in 2010 and comprises 65 sq metres of floor space with chairs, tables and kitchen equipment/cutlery to cater for up to 65 people. It is an ideal venue for weddings, parties, wakes and other group activities or social gatherings.

In addition it has a built in projector and screen with speakers and microphone for small conferences, meetings and training sessions. The premises also has high speed wifi.

The outside area includes a large car park with spaces for 30-40 vehicles depending on size. There is an extensive area of grass which can be used as a playing field for children, sports, dog training as well as providing a pleasant al fresco entertainment area. Marquees may be erected in the sports field for a charge. External power can be provided for an extra charge.

How to Book

Please use our online booking calendar, as we no longer take bookings by phone or email. Navigate to the calendar page which shows the date you want to book and click on the + sign. If you are booking for the first time, you will be asked to create a customer account by filling in a few details before requesting a booking.

Marquees or gazebos can be erected on the Sports Field (extra charge), which can also be used for any outdoor activities. Please read the guidance notes for use of the Sports Field.

How to find us

The village of Cocking is located 9 miles north of Chichester and 3 miles south of Midhurst on the A286.

For the Village Hall, turn off the main road in Cocking village at The Blue Bell and proceed for half a mile along Bell Lane. Before the old railway bridge turn right up the drive to the Village Hall.
